ROAD SAFETY WEEK

The 17TH all India Road Safety Week was observed from 02-01-2006 to 07-01-2006 with the participation of nearly 900 students , NCCs, Volunters of NGOs of 30 Schools, 10 NGOs and NCCs by Traffic Safety propaganda from 28 Camps installed at the different places in Kolkata. The inuguration programme was held at Park circus by Ld. Commissioner of Police, Shri Prasun Mukherjee, IPS, Kolkata. On 15-01-2005 the closing ceremony was held at Madhusudhan Manch with falicitation of NCCs and NGOs who has performed duties for Traffic Management and Crowd Control during last Durga Puja.
ROAD SAFETY GAME

Inter School Road Safety Games-2006 was held at Park Circus Childrens Traffic Training Park on 17-08-2006 with the participation of nearly 1000 school students of 25 schools and one NGO in presence of Hon'ble Finance Minister of West Bengal, Dr. Ashim Das Gupta along with Sr. Officers of Kolkata Police and many other dignitories. The training for aforesaid programme was conducted for a period of 2 months to inculcate traffic sence among the children since their choldhood.
