Debasish Roy
29.10.2008 on the
day of “Bhatridetia” Const. Debasish Roy of
Howrah Bridge Traffic Guard was on duty at M.G.Road and
Strand Road Xing to control Traffic under the Jurisdiction
of Burabazar Police Station. At about 06.50hrs. Suddenly
one Lorry (AP16TW5397) rushed from the north towards east
and knocked him down.
He was
appointed as a sepoy on 20/.01.1988 and joined Traffic Department
on 30.05.2005. Thereafter
he was posted to Howrah Bridge Guard where he performed his
duties with utmost loyalty up to the said date.
Birendra
Nath Shill
Traffic Constable 15055 Birendra Nath
Shill posted South East Traffic Guard was booked for Traffic
duty at E.M Bypass Service Rd in between Prama Island and Ambedkar
Setu From 08:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs on 11/09/2008.He was Dashed
by unknown vehicle while he was performing duty and got severe
injury in his person at about 11:05 hrs on the day. He was
immediately removed to R N Tagore Hospital, Mukundapur for
Treatment, Subsequently he died after Treatment.
Bongkesh
Giri
Traffic Const Bongkesh Giri was coming
for duty on 08-09-07, he was knocked down by an unknown
vehicle at about 06:35 Hrs near Alipore Bridge & 3 DL Khan
Road. The injured Constable was immediately deported to
the SSKM Hospital where he was declared dead.
Subrata Chowdhury
Traffic Const Subrata Chowdhury was
coming for duty on 14-05-05, he was knocked down by an
unknown vehicle at about 08:05 Hrs at St. George Gate
Road. He was immediately removed to C.M.R.I Hospital and
admitted there. Subsequently, he expired on 16-05-05 at
the Hospital
Anup Kr Sinha
Traffic Constable Anup Kr Sinha was
performing duty at the crossing of B T Road and K N Dutta
Road (Sinthi More) on 02-06-2005 at about 09:40 Hrs, knocked
down by a oil Tanker Bearing No-WBL 1800. The injured
Constable was immediately deported to the R G Kar Hospital
where he was declared dead..
All the above were very sincere
and dutiful members of Kolkata Traffic Police family. Their
untimely departure is deeply mourned by Kolkata Traffic
Police.
